Are you eligible to rush Phi Sigma Pi?
Recruitment is a full week dedicated to events where potential initiates get to meet brothers and see what being a brother of Phi Sigma Pi is like.
Fall 2019 Rush Week is TBD!
The beginning of Rush week consists of three informational nights. You must attend one of the informational nights.
The rest of the week consists of Rush events based on our tripod of scholarship, leadership and fellowship.
We will end the week with interviews which is mandatory if you want to join our fraternity.
If you have trouble meeting the requirements but really want to join, then please reach out to our rush advisor. They are at each rush event!
Here is when and where our events will take place!
If you're eligible, what's the next step? RUSH!
Can I join if I'm a female?
Yes!! Phi Sigma Pi is a gender-inclusive fraternity. Members of all genders identities are considered Brothers.
How much does it cost to join Phi Sigma Pi?
An average semester of dues is between $90-$140. It's comprised of national due and local dues. Payment plans are available.
What if I can't attend a recruitment event?
If you cannot attend an event, please email the Recruitment Advisor, Maranda Teutsch at firstname.lastname@example.org with your reason for being absent. This is important as Brothers will look at your attendance when voting for you to move forward into the initiation process.
Is there a hazing policy?
Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity does not condone physical or mental (emotional) hazing of any kind, by any definition.
Can I still join if I'm in a social fraternity or sorority?
Yes!! Many of our Brothers are involved with different organizations besides Phi Sigma Pi. If you feel you have the time to commit to two fraternities/sororities, you are welcome to do so.
How will I know if I'll become an initiate?
If you have been selected for the initiation process, an e-mail will be sent to you, congratulating you and informing you of the required details.
If you have questions about the recruitment process or our chapter that are not covered by the above questions or the informational meetings, feel free to contact our President or the Recruitment Advisor.
